Government of Canada Invests to Help Farmers Boost Soybean Exports - lundi 2 avril 2012

The Government of Canada is supporting the development of new international markets for Canadian soybean farmers, Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz announced today. An investment of more than $88,000 will help the Canadian Soybean Council (CSC) and the Canadian International Grains Institute (CIGI) work together to create a targeted trade development strategy aimed at boosting sales in key markets abroad.

On the heels of a record year for Canadian soybean production in 2010, representatives from Canada’s soybean industry are travelling to Asia this March to promote high-quality Canadian food grade soybeans in Japan, Thailand and Vietnam.
